With the support of Department for International Development (DFID-Myanmar), Enlightened Myanmar Research Foundation (EMReF) gave the presentation on “Border Lives: The Kachin-China border and Introduction to the Borderless Cloud Books” at Humanity Institute, Kachin Land College, Myitkyina on 15 February, 2020.
The research findings were presented by Myat Thet Thitsar (CEO) and Aye Lei Tun (Senior Project Manager - Gender and Livelihood). Furthermore, Nhkum Lazing Zau Seng (Principal of Institute of Liberal Arts and Sciences (Mai Ja Yang)), N Pau Nang Pu (Director of Htoi Gender and Development Foundation) and Sut Seng Htoi (Kachin National Youth Network) analyzed and read the Borderless Cloud Book, respectively.
This book containing the three stories written by an author, Thawdar Aye Lei was based upon the true stories of three residents from Loi Je, Hpimaw, Mai Ja Yang by integrating the research and arts. The event also featured photos of social lives in the border areas.
