The Cyclone Nargis 10-years Memorial event and Community Awareness Campaign organized by the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement which was held in Pathein. The Union Minister for the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement, Dr. Win Myat Aye and the Chief Minister of Ayeyarwady Region, U Hla Moe Aung attended and delivered a speech.
In the event, EMReF displayed a booth. Furthermore, the CEO of EMReF, Daw Myat Thet Thitsar participated as a moderator in the Recovery Planning and Implementation Panel discussion and the Research Manager, Daw Min Min Han presented the findings from the Post-Nargis Social Impacts Monitoring (Round Five) funded by the World Bank.
