Enlightened Myanmar Research Foundation (EMReF) had conducted a workshop on "EIA-SIA Related Parliamentary Research Training" with the Speaker, Deputy Speaker and MPs including military MPs and Hluttaw office staffs from Tanintaryi Region Hluttaw from 4th to 6th April, 2018 in coordination with Myanmar Centre for Responsible Business (MCRB) at Tanintharyi Region Hluttaw new building.
EMReF team covered the following topics for the participants:
1. Introduction to parliamentary research
2. The role of parliamentary research
3. Parliamentary Research Methodology
4. Applied digital information literacy
5. Preparing research brief
6. Practical exercise on desk review
Regarding this successful workshop, EMReF would like to sincerely thanks to the Tanintharyi Hluttaw Speaker, Deputy Speaker and the Heads of Hluttaw office, MCRB team and all of the participants from Tainitharyi Region Hluttaw. We are hoping and believing that the very first step of introducing legislative research knowledge to Tanintharyi Hluttaw could forward to develop research-based policymaking and building research support team for regional Hluttaws in Myanmar.
